No video!!! Photos only

Was hugely disappointed to find that video remote control was not allowed. Works well for photos but Im a videographer.

Could be better

Has improved a lot since my first download. Could improve on a few things: - allow photos to be deleted!! - connect automatically to the camera when app is opened - speed! Takes a while to save photo after it is taken. App also seems to be "loading" quite a bit

Its not that good

Its been almost the same for a year now, you could at least make the updates so it matches the photo description, your camera is amazing just need the app to be amazing to, I hope you can improve this soon.

Priceless

Very nice remote control

Please Improve the UX

I have a QX100 and I love it but please update this interface, please add a quick on screen button to change focus between manual and auto and please add burst mode also there are issues when using the slider to adjust shutter speed, aperture etc. maybe a bigger slider? Im sure I talk for everyone when Im asking for these requests.

Would be nice

Just started using this app with Sony QX10 camera lens. App does not offer to many function options. Would be nice to have a delete option on the app to clear unwanted photos from SD card on the camera lens.

Will not connect

App has completely stopped working

Needs Manual Focus

This app desperately needs manual focus option. The tap focus doesnt focus properly on smaller specific items. Please add this! Why doesnt this have it if the DSC-QX100 does? Not everyone needs or wants 100x zoom!

Works great

So happy to see the app updated so quickly to iOS 9. Continues to work smoothly with my RX100M2 in transferring pics.

Incredibly bad

Hey Sony, hire a high school kid to write a half decent app.

Awesome

Great app! Works perfectly with my Sony HX90V

Far too complicated!!!

Im a "techie" and I wasted two hours of my life trying to make this Sony App work with a Sony HX-90 camera. The App seems OK but the camera setup is overly complex (setting up a Sony account, needing to reenter the password multiple times, etc.) so I gave up. Twenty years ago Sony was a giant and Apple was tiny. Then Steve Jobs focused them on simplicity: as few buttons and as few steps as possible. This App shows that Sony have not learned any lessons... very sad.

QX10 Needs Manual Focus!!!!

It doesnt focus properly with touch focusing. Please enable manual focusing!!

Sony Play Memories

I am Testing How Families and Friends can share photos taken by me using Sony Alpha 6000 and Sony A7. My comment: I love the camera performance but like all things Sony - unnecessarily complicated. Sonys Software to transfer and share photos from camera to iPad, iPhone and My Mac Computer is extremely complicated - especially when you have to deal with barcode readers, cloud storage, file formatting, convert file size issues, multiple complicated Sony camera menus, passwords, photo processing, editing, organization and sharing between Friends and family and privacy issues - on top of constantly changing and updating of firmware, camera models and accessory upgrades. I find the combination of Sonys photography and multimedia ecosystems to be too cumbersome, time-consuming and stressful to handle. And, I am an experienced Canadian trained electronic engineer and should not need a Ph.D to work your system. I was a happily satisfied Canon shooter and enjoyed photography hobby in my retirement. I spent a several thousand dollars to switch to Sony Mirrorless to avoid carrying SLRs heavy weight. But, now I find myself stressed out trying to deal with complicated Sony electronics and software and hardware which is not that much lighter than canon. It was a mistake to change course at this stage of my life. I like progress but it should not be as complicated as Sony is making it out to be. Sony, please get creative; SIMPLIFY your Eco system like Apple. Or, leave the retired people to enjoy their hard earned savings and enjoy their Canon and avoid getting stressed out manipulating your complicated software Apps and wasting their time and money - endlessly upgrading software. :/

This app is good for putting the photos onto a smartphone. However, you transfer the videos/ movies. I do not have a computer... So this should be something to improve on.

Hard to Use

Cannot find the option to connect camera by SSID instead of QR code.

QR for HDR AS20 not recognized

No ssid option so app wont recognize camera.

QR work around

Turn on camera wifi then iPhone settings, wifi, choose the camera & enter password. Then app works.

RAW SUPPORT MISSING

Hey guys, the app works just ok, could work a bit on the interface and the optimization of it all (tends to be laggy at times) but above all, PLEASE INCLUDE RAW PHOTO TRANSFER finally, like you might know back in September Apple released iOS 10 which allows you to finally edit RAW shots, would be nice to take advantage of it ;).

Amazing!!!!

Ssid and password are inside battery compartment , love the app works so good for me
